2022’s long hot summer of some concern, or of a great suntan depending on your scientific and political persuasions (funny how these things are so intrinsically linked these days – ‘Love Brexit? Then you’ll also hate climate change and electric cars!’ etc) reached it’s 40 degree peak in late July on the day fave customer, family owned Xray PSU manufacturer Gulmay, had asked me to photograph their anniversary celebrations on a boat on the Thames.
Let’s just say ’it was quite warm’, but the breeze from the motion and the open top of the vessel certainly helped. Not just any verse, this was the Elizabethan from Thames Luxury Cruisers who 9 years before I had been commissioned to shoot pictures for. We spent a fun days bombing u and down the Thames on an ex-police boat shooting their various fleet in front of London landmarks.
I was really happy with the pictures and glad to see that some are still on the company website.
The pictures of the Gulmay gig were also great. Some of the staff had been flown in that day from Newquay to join the outing, an amazing effort by the company who always demonstrate exemplary care for their staff.
