A B2B video case study

Inside an Oakley store, filming in on location. There are lots of brightly lit glasses boxes where the glasses for each brand sit. There is a table with chairs in the middle of the room.

The Objective

In the Autumn, we partnered with Global eyewear powerhouse EssilorLuxottica to develop some B2B videos for the global launch of their new AI glasses across Ray-Ban, Oakley and Nuance.

As pioneers of optical innovation with a portfolio of truly iconic brands, the brief was clear (and ambitious): deliver informative content for opticians as part of a world-class launch campaign with genuine international appeal.

The Strategy

Innovation sits at the heart of everything EssilorLuxottica does, from advanced medical solutions that support eye health to category-defining smart eyewear that reimagines what glasses can do.

To bring the limitless potential of AI technology to life, and to give the launch a truly global voice, Essilor brought together seven high-profile brand leaders from across the UK and EU. Flying them in for a series of insightful presentations, we created content that combined authority, credibility and excitement.

Behind the scenes filming for Ray-Ban. A lady is pictured having some makeup put on her face. There are products all over the table and in the background 3Blitz glasses can be seen on a glasses stand. There is also a mannequin in the background wear a grey hat and grey tracksuit. Clothes can also be seen on a rail in the background.
A lady with brown hair is pictured wearing a grey top with her hands behind her back. Behind her is a glasses shop with red interior and lots of LED boxes storing glasses. She is smiling.

What We Did

This was a full-scale production, supported by an experienced crew including a director of photography, two camera operators, lighting crew, autocue operator, sound engineer, make-up artist and producer.

Filming took place at the company’s UK HQ in Kensington, with a tightly coordinated schedule that saw all content captured over an intensive three-day shoot including weekend working in order to be clear of the space for an important sales meeting the next day.

The Results

The client was delighted with the final films, describing the work as “class-leading.”
